Shot between 8pm and 4am across Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Mohali and Patiala. Available city light only — sodium lamps, shop windows, headlights on wet paving.
Brief
Night is the honest light
Shooting after dark removes the option of hiding a bad cut. Every seam and every proportion error reads immediately under raking light — which is precisely why we chose it.
If it only photographs at noon, it is decoration.
The coat in look eleven was drafted twice. The first version had a 2cm drop at the back hem that looked perfect under studio light and read as a stumble on camera.
